MailContacts

Newsletters right from your Mac

Website: https://treeinspired.com/mailcontacts/
Platforms: macOS
Requirements: macOS 26 or later

Design newsletters right on your Mac and send them through your own mail account – iCloud, Gmail or any mail server, with no third-party service involved. Chapters, pictures and buttons come together in a visual editor, everyone is greeted by name, and the preview shows exactly what each person gets.

Your recipients are already there: MailContacts imports every address Apple Mail remembers, shows who is missing from your contacts, tidies up names and sorts people into groups. Importing, searching and tidying up are free; MailContacts Pro unlocks sending newsletters, adding to Contacts, export, Mailchimp upload and printing.

- Design newsletters: A visual editor for chapters, pictures, buttons and a table of contents. Greet everyone by name and preview exactly what each person gets.
- Send from your own account: iCloud, Gmail or any mail server, no third-party service (Pro). Pause at any time; nobody gets a newsletter twice, and people who unsubscribed are never written to again.
- Import every address Mail knows: Reads the address list Apple Mail keeps – nothing else. Tens of thousands of addresses import in seconds, and your messages are never opened.
- See who is missing: Shows which addresses are already in Contacts and which are not. Search by name, address or domain.
- Groups and tidy names: Drag people into groups. First and last names are split automatically; hide noreply@ senders and remove addresses for good.
- Export anywhere: CSV, vCard, plain text, HTML, RTF or Word, or upload a list to Mailchimp with double opt-in (Pro).
